1967: Toolcraft Commenced manufacturing Machine Tools
by Developing 2-Dimensional Pantograph Engraving Machines in-house which
was put into commercial production.
1972: Further expanded by indigenously developing 3 Dimensional
Pantograph Engraving Machines which became popular in India and abroad.
1974: In due recognition of indigenous development of
3 Dimensional Pantograph Engraving Machines, Toolcraft was the
recipient of the National Award from the Government of India.
1975: Further diversification was taken up through the
development of Spark Erosion Machines of different types and sizes.
1976: Toolcraft exhibited their products in the prestigious
Machine Tool fair at Hanover, 1977. The exhibits were well received and
resulted in enquiries from various countries.
1977: Mr.B.R.Shivashankar was selected
to be a member of Machine Tool Accessories delegation to EEC Countries.
1980: In recognition of the meritorious
services rendered in the field of Design and Manufacture of Machine Tools, Toolcraft received several Awards including the State Productivity
Council Award.
1980: A large plot of land (4-1/2 acre) in Peenya Industrial
Area, Bangalore where an impressive modern factory was constructed. The
existing factory was converted into a full fledged Heat Treatment Shop
( Toolcraft Process ) which was further equipped with a battery of furnaces
to handle all types of Heat Treatment Jobs essential for Machine Tool
Production.
1981: Mr. B.R.Shivashankar, Managing
Director, was the leader of a Machine Tool delegation to ASEAN Countries
sponsored by International Trade Center, Geneva and Engineering
Export Promotion Council India.
1983: A separate building was constructed in the same
premises for the manufacturing Control Systems for Machine Tools.
1984: Indigenously developed Universal
Milling Machine Indigenously, mainly for export and started Commercial
Production in the later part of the year.
1988-99: Further, the following machines
were taken up for in-house development by the Research and Development
group.
1. CNC Wire –cut EDM.
2. CNC Universal Machining Center.
1990-92: Received Regional Export Shields in 91 &
92 for largest export of Machine Tools in Southern Indian In the small
scale sector.
1997-98: Designed and developed CNC
Engraving Machines.
2000-01: Wire-cut EDM Prototype completed-Exhibited
at IMTEX 2001 fair at Delhi.
2002-03: Designed and developed high
precision CNC Engraving and Milling machines.
2004: Exported first batch of CNC Engraving
Machine to the United States of America.
Sept 2004: Exhibited CNC Mini Mills
at IMTS Show in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Dec 2004: Obtained ISO9001-2000 Certification.
April 2005: Exhibited High Precision CNC Engraving &
Milling machines at the Basel Show, Switzerland.
January 2006: Developed Toolcraft CNC Engraving Machine
Model BR 8060.
June 2007: Developed Cantilever Type CNC Engraving Milling
Machines for large Forging Dies upto 3 Tons.
June 2008: Developed INS50 Hard Milling & Engraving Machine for direct machining of hardened materials.
June 2009: Developed EX series CNC Engraving Machines with 8 Tool Automatic Tool Changer with Auto Tool Probing.
Developed CNCXpert Four Axis Simultaneous CNC controller for Toolcraft CNC Mini Mills and Engraving Machines.
Developed completely digital CNC, Toolcraft CNCPro upto 5 Axis Simultaneous applications for aerospace and automobile applications.
February 2010: Toolcraft signs agreement with Richmill, Japan, to manufacture Induction heating based Shrink Fit Machines for Indian and Export Markets.
TOOLCRAFT is appointed by Richmill, Japan as its exclusive partner to market its ULTRA PRECISION HIGH SPEED Electro Spindles running at 60000 rpm for cutting Hard metals upto 55 to 60 Rc.
October 2012: Toolcraft develops a customized fully Automatic 6 Axis EDM to BOSCH
April 2014: Toolcraft signs an exclusive Marketing & Sevice Agreement with OSAICNC, a subsidiary of Prma Electro , Italy
Toolcraft has also participated in many other International Trade Fairs such as those held in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore etc.
From the foregoing, it is evident that there has been a progressive growth in the overall activities of the Corporate Organization which started with a humble beginning way back in the year 1961. |
